one can supply feed water at high pressure and low discharge. |
| OPERATION |

In
case of centrifugal pumps, models with high head and low
discharge are not available. Hence while feeding water to a
boiler, wherein someone requires high head but with low
discharge, he has to unnecessarily go for high head and high
discharge pump. Also in that case one has to provide automatic
re-circulation and bypass system for the excess flow. Owing to
this the initial cost as well as the running costs (power
consumption) of the entire system are drastically increased.

pressure reciprocating –triplex plunger pumps. Herein one can
go for intermediate to higher pressure at virtually any flow. So
in case of systems where only high pressure is required at low
discharges, using a triplex plunger pump will save large amount
